Posters Help Pets Get Home ....Safe!

Creating a Lost Report  -- and posters -- is quick and easy with PetLynx!

Ted T. from Winnipeg, Manitoba, discovered how easy it was to create Lost Pet posters when his animal companion went missing.

"PetLynx was recommended to me by the Winnipeg Humane Society," wrote Tim. "I found the website was particularly useful in helping me create lost posters. I think more people should know about PetLynx  BEFORE they lose their pet. Thank you very much for providing this service."

Purloined Puppies Now Have Microchips!

My missing dogs were found at the neighbors, just two doors away, ... thanks to a tip from another neighbor. The teenage daughter was holding them on her deck (which is hidden by trees), with her parents and siblings present, while I was calling and whistling not 30 feet away from them!

It looked very suspicious as our three acres is completely fenced and the dogs can not crawl over, under or through. We wonder if she opened the gate and let them out?

Pet Adoptions That Really Rock!

There is always cause for celebration when a lost pet is reunited with their guardians. Whether PetLynx played a role in a successful recovery or not, we are always thrilled to hear when a wayward dog or cat gets home... safe!

But in animal shelters across the world, many dogs, cats and other companion animals are never claimed and must wait to find a new 'forever home.' Knowing that every new animal adoption is something special, the good folks at the Nevada Humane Society have put a new spin on saying "congratulations" as they present one lucky dog to an excited new owner! Watch their adoption entrance dance ... it is sure to put a smile on your face!

P&G Issues Voluntary Recall of Specialized Dry Pet Foods

In keeping with its steadfast commitment to animal health and safety, on July 30, 2010, the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) voluntarily expanded a recent USA only recall of a select number of dry pet foods.

The recall now includes Iams Veterinary Dry Formulas and some Specialized Eukanuba Dry Formula pet foods sold in veterinary clinics and specialty pet retailers in the USA and Canada.

This recall is a precautionary measure because these products were made in a single, specialized facility where it was determined that some products made at the facility may have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. No salmonella-related illnesses have been reported and no canned pet food, biscuits/treats or supplements are affected by this announcement.
