Dogs In Canada Website Lands National Award

PetLynx Corporation is pleased to congratulate the team at dogsincanada.com for winning the first-ever Web Site of the Year award at the 33rd Annual National Magazine Awards held in Toronto on June 5, 2010. The award is meant to recognize the website that most successfully fulfills its editorial mission, effectively serves its audience, maximizes use of the web and represents the highest journalistic standards.
Despite a year of magazine closings, restructuring and layoffs, the Canadian magazine industry had much to celebrate. More than 750 guests attended the gala as The National Magazine Awards Foundation handed out Gold, Silver and Honourable Mention awards in 46 categories, out of a field of 390 nominations from 84 magazines from across the country. Debuting this year were six online categories, including Website of the Year and Best Visual Design.

“We are proud to have APEX Publishing's Dogs in Canada magazine and the Canadian Kennel Club as our industry partners," says Larry Evans, President & CEO of PetLynx Corporation. "We are very excited about our new collaborations with these organizations and we congratulate Dogs in Canada on achieving this award."
