Pup Returned HomeSafe Just on Time for Canada Day

A BC tourist found this lucky pup just on time for it's distressed family to enjoy Canada Day:
"Our miniature schnauzer puppy got out of our yard a week before Canada Day this year. We searched for hours in the pouring rain without any luck. My son-in-law logged into PetLynx and within minutes we knew our pup was safe. Although we don't have a picture on PetLynx his picture was posted as a lost dog. He is microchipped and once we confirmed the microchip number we were able to confirm it was him. There were tears and laughing - the feeling was undescribable. A gentleman from out of town had seen our dog at the intersection of two extremely busy streets. He was brought to the lost & found just before closing yet PetLynx had all the information available online almost immediately after he was found. Words cannot express our thanks to PetLynx!"

The BC tourist turned the pup into the Calgary Human Society where the owners were able to finally locate it.

A Happy Adoptee

A heart warming adoption story:
"Cookie.. We have adopted her and she's the greatest dog ever, loves other dogs, loves to play ball and play in pool. She talks all the time, kind of a gargle, sometimes comes out as Thank You,,, Glad to have found her, Had her Vet checked and confirmed that she is a pure bred Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.. Thanks you for taking these dogs in and helping them find new homes,, We love her, It says she was surrendered by owner, not sure if you can let them know that she is so loved and safe....."

Fast Response = Happy Customer

A quick and informative reply from the PetLynx team brings in great appreciation from the customer:

Customer:
This summer one of our dogs lost her Pet Lynx identification tag. Can they be replaced?
PetLynx Same Day Reply: I will send you a few new replacement tags right away! When you receive it you need to go onto your dogs profile and update the tag number, below is some instructions on how to do that.
-go onto your profile
-open up the dogs information,
-at the top is a bunch of yellow tabs, go into identification
-down to External Tags,
-click view
-then back up on the left hand side under the yellow tabs it says edit,
-enter your new tag number and press save.
Customer: "Thank you so much. I’ve recently updated their profiles but will do the same when we receive the new tags. Great program!!! Hopefully we never lose them but if we do this is such a great identification system."

This whole scenario took place over a period of probably 12 hours, she sent the email - we replied with instructions and sent her the tags that same morning. It is assumable that our fast acting team that deals directly with the customers is what is making our corporation successful.

Quick Thoughts From PetLynx

Just a few thoughts and ideas for the customers of PetLynx.

Recently I received an email from a customer that had a few questions in it regarding our PetLynx tags...

"Message: recently registered and received a tag for my dog's collar. Questions:
1. how do i attach?
2. as she is still growing and will need larger collars, are the tags easily removed and transferable to a new collar?
3. if need to replace, can i do so and keep the same ID #?
4. cost toreplace tag is how much/how ordered/how paid?"

I thought to myself after reading this "Wow these are very valid questions that many of our customers might be asking". So I thought I would post my response to this customer so that if any of our followers were wondering the same thing then they would be able to see some of the ideas and answers that I have given.

" - To attach the PetLynx tag just fold it around and put the one end through the other end with the square hole.
- I would suggest finding a heavy duty key chain ring that you can take off of the old collar and put on the new ones as she grows for the tags are not supposed to be easy to remove.
-We can also replace them free of charge if it is lost or what ever the case may be. The ID number would not be the same on the tag though, but it is very easy to go on line and change the tag number.
-You can order that by just emailing back to this email or calling in and leaving a message with your mailing address and some account information like user name or your full name. The number to call would be (1-403) 568 8029 Or (1-866) 738 5969.

The customer that had sent me the email asking these questions was very happy with the answers and ideas that I had given her, I hope that it can help those customers that might be wondering the same thing in the same way that it had helped this particular customer!
