This is a story we received from a very happy pet owner and her son after their dog, Heidi, was found after going missing in a wild fire.
"She
was lost in the wild with fires out of control we looked for her for
days and no sign of her. We made flyers and posted them in the area where she
was lost and after 12 days of missing her and worrying I finally got a
call from a lady where we left one of the posters on the board; a man
working in the bush had found her! what a trooper she is to have survived in
the wild, seeing as she was in the cast for two months this winter from a
fall. She had traveled four kilometers!
I want to thank all the
people for the help in finding our best friend and especially the person
who was nice enough to bring her to safety now she is home safe where
she belong"
