Dogs + Hot Air Balloons, Fireworks or Thunder = Cause for Concern, not Celebration!

"Duke, a 14-year-old mixed breed dog rescued from the Edmonton Humane Society, is a big part of our family," wrote Janet C. "He went missing after some hot air balloons scared him and he was gone for several hours."

Needless to say, Janet and her family were worried but, she explained, thanks to the PetLynx Lost and Found service and a lady named Vicky who had placed a Found Dog notice on the website, Duke's story has a happy ending!

Janet said; "Thank you for the PetLynx website and the kind family that found Duke .... [we're so glad] he is at home now!" :)

At PetLynx, we love to hear your happy endings and we're glad that Duke is HomeSafe, too!

Although Canada Day and 4th of July celebrations are now behind us, summertime is a time of on-going outdoor fun and celebration. To help ensure that your pet does not get spooked by loud sounds -- such as hot air balloons, fireworks or thunder storms -- here are some helpful hints from the good folks and PetSecure Pet Health Insurance!
