September is Pet Health Insurance Month and PetSecure Pet Insurance is pleased that the Farley Foundation has come on board as a contest sponsor and has donated a plush ‘Farley’ doll to include in the Grand Prize!

 The Farley Foundation was established in 2001 by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) to help Ontario seniors and disabled people on limited incomes with their veterinary bills.

In 2007, the Farley Foundation expanded to help pets of women at risk of abuse through the OVMA’s SafePet Program.

Lynn Johnston, Canada’s cartoonist and icon of the comic strip ‘For Better or For Worse', lent her character ‘Farley’ to the organization as a way to commemorate her character, who’s passing in the comic strip resonating with her many readers around the world.
